Dr. Sharon Gray, EdD, Licensed Psychologist
A nationally recognized specialist in early brain development, Dr. Gray has trained in the field of trauma and attachment since 1992. She specializes in working with adults, children and families who struggle with issues related to life experience and its impact on the mind body system.
In her easy going and comfortable ways, she uses brain science (and a sense of humor) to provide treatment of emotional and behavioral issues in adults, children, couples and families. Including psychological assessments for both children and adults.

Dissertation
The Intergenerational Transmission of Psychopathology through Disordered Attachment: A Case Study of Mother and Son.
Abstract: Attachment disorder is a very real and debilitating psychological disorder. This dissertation examines psychopathology through attachment disorders, the intergenerational transmission of attachment disorder, and pertinent treatment issues. To formulate implications of generational attachment disorder psychologists and other mental health professionals are increasingly turning to attachment theory as the base for their formulation and treatment plan. Based on information obtained from literature and clinical experience from the case, this dissertation proposes a psychotherapy model for working with biological mothers and their children. The proposed model is based on one therapist working individually with mother, then conjointly with the mother- child dyad where both mother and child can be recipients of healthy caregiving by the clinician in the context of attachment-based psychotherapy.
